| Tommy McClennan Delta Blues guitar Workshop Sunday June 22nd at 2pm taught by Eric Noden Old Town School of Folk Music 4544 N. Lincoln Ave. Chicago, IL 773-728-6000 or visit Tommy McClennan played and sang blues in a rough, energetic style. His raw delta blues guitar playing was unique and highly rhythmic. McClennan wrote several blues classics including Cross Cut Saw, later popularized by Albert King, and Bottle it up and Go which he recorded for Bluebird Records in the late 30’s and early 40’s. Join Eric as he breaks down the essence of McClennan’s finger picking guitar techniques.
